Day 1:     Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to Nagarkot

Upon arrival in Kathmandu, having cleared immigration and customs, you will be received by our representative outside the  terminal building and transferred to your hotel in Nagarkot.

Rest of the day is free at leisure.

Overnight in Nagarkot.

Day 2: Transfer to Kathmandu en-route visit Bhaktapur city. Kathmandu City and Swayambhunath Sightseeing:

Today morning after breakfast, you will be picked up at the hotel for sightseeing tour of Kathmandu city, Swayambhunath and Bhaktapur city. Bhaktapur: One of the three main cities in the Valley, Bhaktapur is located east of Kathmandu and is in reality a medieval city where the Newars, the main inhabitants still follow age old traditions and customs. Bhaktapur became the capital of the Valley in 1377 BC during the reign of the Malla dynasty and flourished as a major urban centre from the 15th century onwards. It houses some of the best examples of Nepali craftsmanship on wood and stone such as the Palace of 55 Windows built in 1697, the five storied Nyatapola Temple, the KashiBiswanath Temple, theDattatreya Temple among many others. Considered a living museum one can witness ancient traditions carried out even today as they were centuries ago in many areas of the city such as in Potters Square where the local potters use age old techniques to make clay utensils.

Kathmandu City: Here you will visit the temple of the Living Goddess, who acknowledges the greetings of the devotees from the balcony of her temple residence. Kasthamandap – the source of the name Kathmandu and supposed to be made from the timber of a single tree and Durbar Square are with its array of temples overlooked by the Hanuman Dhoka Palace, the ancient residence of the Nepalese Royalty.

Swayambhunath: Located approximately 4 km/2.5 miles, this Buddhist Stupa is said to be 2000 years old. The Stupa, which forms the main structure, is composed of a solid hemisphere of brick and earth supporting a lofty conical spire capped by a pinnacle of copper gilt. Painted on the four-sided base of the spire are the all-seeing eyes of Lord Buddha. This hill is a mosaic of small Chaityas and Pagodas temples

Day 3: Drive to Pokhara [approx 6 hours] and rest of the day free at leisure

Pokhara has mesmerized visitors from all over the world with the rare combinations of snow-clad peaks and snow fed lakes and rivers. The serenity of the Phewa Lake accompanied by the grandeur of Machhapuchhre creates an ambience of peace and magic.

Day 4: Full day sightseeing tour in Pokhara including 1 hr boat ride at Phewa Lake

Sarangkot is 9 kms to the north west of Pokhara is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Nepal. Conveniently perched high on the top of a ridge at 1,592m., the serene hill resort offers the spectacular panorama of the entire Annapurna range stretching from east to west and the un-spoilt rural settlements just below those towering peaks. Viewing 700m down from the top of Sarangkot you can have awesome sights of the stretching Pokhara Valley, Phewa Lake and many more.

Davis fall's: Witness a unique waterfall that lies 2 Km from central Pokhara City. The water fall directly goes into a deep and narrow canal with no ends. It is believed that this deadly waterfall took the life of a tourist named David, who fell down into the cannel and was never found, and hence the name David waterfall, named in his memory by the people of Pokhara. This place has many nick names like Davy's fall, David's fall or Davis's fall, all mean the same thing `The Davis Water Fall'.

Gupteswor Mahadev Cave: Gupteshwor Mahadev cave is one of the longest caves in Nepal. On the way to cave, there are shining stones seen everywhere and in the temple is big stone that looks like snake's head and tortoise which is consider as the image of the lord Shiva. Second part is very beautiful and you see shining stones and different types of rocks like bee hives.

Bindebashini Temple: This is one of the oldest temples in Pokhara. Legend says that when Pokhara was a part of Kaski Kingdom, the main deity of the temple, Goddess Durga, was brought from India. Apart from the peace and tranquility that can be felt in this region, the premises of the temple offers a good view of the Himalaya on a clear day. The temple is in the area of the Bazaar; hence, a journey of the old bazaar can be combined with a visit to the temple.

The Fewa (or Phewa) Lake 1.5 kilometer long, second largest lake in Nepal, offers an excellent view of the mountains and their reflections on the lake. Many tours and trekking operators and hotels are located on the lakeside. One can easily find a place to sit back, relax and enjoy great meal while enjoying scenery here. You will also enjoy 01 hrs boating on the lake. Most hotels and guest houses have traditional designs and layouts which match with the surrounding views.

Day 5: Drive to Chitwan [approx 4 hours]. Rest day enjoy Jungle activities:

Chitwan: Chitwan is among the last surviving examples of continuous band of forests and grasslands, which once extended from the Indus River in Pakistan to the Burmese border. Chitwan National Park lies in the lush valley of Chitwan situated in the foothills of Churia ranges. It is the first National Park of the Kingdom and is one of the finest national parks in Asia. The Park is famous for its variety of wildlife especially the Great Indian one Horned Rhinoceros

Day 6:  Full day jungle activities in Chitwan

A whole day of activities in the jungle.

Day 7:     Drive to Lumbini [approx. 3 hours].

LUMBINI: Lumbini, the birthplace of the Buddha, was located in 1890 after being untraced for 1,500 years. Lumbini grove, the sacred site of Lord Buddha's birth is today a small village in Nepal, 27 km from Sonauli on the Indo-Nepal Border.

Ashoka Pillar: built in the year 259BC, this pillar was built by King Ashok, who was Buddhist. When he constructed this pillar, the King exempted the villagers from paying tax and gave out 100 golden coins to the people. In the seventh century, the pillar was struck by lightening and split into two parts. The site was lost for six centuries and covered with dense forest before being re found in 1895. The place was cleared and the pillar reconstructed.

Maya Devi Temple: This temple is supposed to be dedicated to Maya Devi, who is Buddha’s mother, which seems natural as lumbini in famed as the birth place of Buddha. The temple was built during the 2nd century. Next to the temple there is a pool where Maya Devi used to bathe, now days the Japanese Buddhist Federations is re constructing new temple at this site.

Day 8: Transfer to Kathmandu [approx. 7 hours]

After breakfast, drive back to Kathmandu, upon arrival transfer to hotel, rest of the day is free or at leisure.

Day 9:  Departure from Kathmandu

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Kathmandu Airport for your departure flight.
