Shimla (3N) + Sarahan (2N) + Narkanda (2N) + Naldehra (1N)

Day 1: Chandigarh to Shimla (124 km / 4-5 hrs)

On arrival at Chandigarh Airport, you will be met by our driver and transferred to Shimla, ‘’The Queen of Hills’’. On arrival, check in at the hotel and rest of the day is free at leisure.

Overnight stay in Shimla.

Day 2: Sightseeing in Shimla

After breakfast, proceed to sightseeing covering: Mall Road, The Ridge, Christ church, Jakhoo Temple, The state museum. You can visit Lakkar Bazaar which is popular for its wood crafts and souvenirs. Later return to the hotel.

Overnight stay in Shimla.

Day 3: In and Around Shimla

After an early breakfast, proceed for excursion to Chail, Mashobra, Kufri and Fagu. 

Mashobra (12 km / 40 mins): At 7050 feet, this beautiful suburb is surrounded by thick forests. From here, a track leads down to Sipur which is an exquisite glade shaded by ancient deodar trees. There are old temples a fair is held in every April.

Kufri (12 km /30 mins) from Mashobra. At 8,235 feet, Known for its panoramic views and lush surrounding. Is famous for skiing, it offers an adventure activities like yak ride, ice-skating, horse riding, paragliding and many more. You can visit Kufri fun World. 

Fagu is 6 km from Kufri. Located at 8,234 feet.  Fagu has some enchanting views.

Later, proceed to Chail which is 35 km from Fagu. This was a former Summer Capital of the Patiala State. The Palace has been converted to a luxury hotel by Himachal Tourism. On arrival check in at the hotel and the evening is at leisure.

Later return to the hotel.

Day 4: Shimla to Sarahan (160 kms / 5 hrs)

After an early breakfast, check out and transfer to Sarahan. Situated at 7103 feet, Sarahan is one of the hidden gems in the region. Flanked by the Sutlej River and with the snow clad Shrikhand peak in the background, is an abode of tranquillity and has been generously blessed with immense natural splendours. 

The encircling Bashal peak, mountain slopes dotted with the evergreen Birch, Deodar trees, alpine meadows and orchards add to the wow factor of the location. Sarahan serves as the gateway to Kinnaur and is also the base for many treks.

On arrival, check in and rest of the day is free at leisure to soak in the natural splendours of the place and relax in its serene and tranquil ambience.

Day 5: In Sarahan

After a leisurely breakfast in the lap of nature start on a full day sightseeing covering:

Bhaba Valley which is located 60 km from Sarahan on the banks of the Bhaba river.  The spectacular landscape dotted with lakes; alpine meadows make it a very popular attraction. It is also serving as a base camp for treks to Spiti.

Later, visit Bhimakali Temple: The temple dating back centuries is one of the 51 sacred Shaktipeeths and revered by devotees.

Return to your hotel in the evening and have the rest of the day at leisure to explore the place, take nature walks or just sit and admire the beauty of the place.

Day 6: Sarahan to Narkanda (100 kms / 3 hrs)

After breakfast, check out and proceed to Narkanda.

Narkanda is located at an elevation of 2708 meters at a distance of 65 km from Shimla and offers spectacular and uninterrupted views of the snow-clad ranges, the apple orchards and mountainous forests.  Narkanda is also the Ski Capital of the state and is famous for Skiing & Winter sports. 

After checking in at the hotel and freshening up, you can visit:

Hatu Peak (3300m): It lies 8 km from Narkanda and is reached via a road flanked by pine and spruce trees. The ancient Hatu Mata temple is located right at the top. The peak offers spectacular views of the snow-clad Himalayan ranges, the dense forests, valleys and apple orchards. Hiking is recommended to reach the peak.

Kacheri (1810m): This place is located 7 km from Narkanda and famous for the ancient Mahamaya Temple.

Kotgarh & Thanedhar (1830m): 17 km from Narkanda lies the Himachal's horticultural heartland, Kotgarh and Thanedhar, renowned for apple orchards. The famous Stokes Farm is located at Thanedhar.  Stokes came to India on a trip and while on a summer visit to Shimla, fell in love with its environment and the charming hill residents and settled down in Kotgarh. He started the apple farm which later became acclaimed for its Red Delicious, Golden Delicious and Royal Delicious variety of apples.

Return to your hotel in the evening for overnight stay in Narkanda.

Day 7:  Narkanda

After breakfast, the day is free to explore the place at leisure.  If you visit during the periods of snowfall, then there are a lot of winter sports activities like skiing which you can experience.

Day 8: Narkanda to Naldehra (70 km / 2-3 hrs)

After breakfast, check out from your hotel and proceed to Naldehra. Located at an altitude of 6706 feet, boasts of the oldest 9-hole golf course in the country. The lovely and verdant golf course is one of the finest in India.

Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and then proceed to visit Tattapani & The Nag Temple from where Naldehra derives its name. Tattapani is a short distance away and its hot sulphur springs are a popular tourist draw. The water of the sulphur springs is believed to have curative medicinal value. Later return to the hotel.

Overnight stay at Naldehra.

Day 9: Naldehra to Chandigarh (140 kms / 5 hrs)

After an early breakfast, check out from your hotel and proceed to Chandigarh Airport for your onward journey.
