Day 1: Arrival at Cochin and Transfer to Kumarakom (80 km / 3 hrs)

On arrival at Cochin Airport, you will be met by our driver/representative and transferred to Kumarakom. On arrival, check-in at the hotel/resort. Rest of the day is free at leisure to take a scenic ride in the backwaters of Kerala.

Day 2: Kumarakom sightseeing

After breakfast, proceed to visit Vembanad Lake, where you can enjoy boating, also explore Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary, home to migratory birds, Take a Canal Cruise at Water Scapes through labyrinthine canal. Later, visit Pathiramanal, a small island which is accessible by boat and is a bird haven.

Overnight stay in Kumarakom.

Day 3: Kumarakom to Alleppey (35 km / 1 hr)

After breakfast, check-out from the hotel/resort and proceed to Alleppey. On arrival, check-in at the Alleppey houseboat. The day is spent cruising slowly on the backwaters of Alleppey.  You may also disembark from the houseboat for shore visits to the spectacular beaches in proximity.  Return to the houseboat for a memorable night stay.

Day 4: Alleppey to Kovalam (170 km / 6 hrs)

After breakfast, check-out from the houseboat and drive to Kovalam. On arrival, check-in at the hotel/resort and spend the rest of the day visiting the beach, ascending the lighthouse for a panoramic view extending up to the horizons.

Day 5: Kovalam and Trivandrum sightseeing

After breakfast, proceed to Trivandrum and visit the renowned Padmanabhaswamy Temple. Later, visit Kuthiramalika Museum and Napier Museum. Explore the city, visit local markets and savor the flavors of Kerala cuisine. The evening is at leisure to soak in the beauty and tranquility of Kovalam beach.

Day 6: Departure from Trivandrum Airport / Railway station

After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and proceed to Trivandrum Airport / Railway station for your onward journey.
