


Day 1: Arrival at Paro International Airport and Transfer to Thimphu (50 km / 2 hrs)
On arrival at the Paro International Airport, you will meet our representative after clearing immigration and customs process, transfer to Thimphu.
En-route you will view Tachogang Monastery, “the temple of excellent horse” before reaching to Chunzom.
Visit the Iron Chain Bridge. On arrival check-in at the hotel and rest of the day is free at leisure.
Overnight stay in Thimphu.
Day 2: Thimphu Valley Excursion
After breakfast, proceed for Thimphu Valley Excursion covering – Kuensel Phodrang, the Buddha Statue, the National Memorial Chorten. Later visit Art and Craft School.
In the afternoon visit Takin enclosure to see the National Animal of Bhutan and visit the Textile Museum. Later visit Tashicho Dzong. Rest of the evening is free at leisure.
Overnight stay in Thimphu.
Day 3: Thimphu – Punakha (75 km / 3 hrs)
After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and proceed to Punakha. En-route visit Dochula pass which offers a spectacular view of the Eastern Himalayas. Descend through the forest of rhododendrons and magnolia, passing through villages of Lumitsawa, Thinleygang and the fertile valley of Lobesa.
Take a gradual hike through the rice fields (takes about an hour) to Chime Lhakhang monastery. Later in the afternoon, proceed to visit Punakha Dzong. Rest of the evening is free at leisure.
Overnight stay in Punakha.
Day 4: Punakha Valley Excursion
After breakfast, proceed for full day excursion to Phunakha Valley Excursion covering – Khsamsum Yulley Chorten. Later walk down to base of the Chorten for lunch along the side of the river. In the afternoon, proceed through Punakha valley to visit Druk Pungthang Dechen Phodrang. Rest of the evening is free at leisure.
Overnight stay in Phunakha.
Day 5: Punakha – Paro (120 Km / 5 Hrs)
After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and proceed to Paro. En – route visit the Simtokha Dzong. On arrival in Paro, check-in at the hotel. Later proceed to a Bhutanese host family to learn about their culture and lifestyle. Rest of the evening is free at leisure.
Overnight stay in Paro.
Day 6: Paro Taktsang Day Excursion
After breakfast, proceed for a full day excursion to the spectacular Taktsang (Tiger Nest) Monastery. Proceed to Ramthangkha, from where you start your hike to the Taktsang monastery (Tiger’s Nest). Rest of the evening is free at leisure.
Overnight stay in Paro.
Day 7: Chele La Excursion
After breakfast, proceed for the full–day excursion to Chele La pass (13084 ft.), the highest motorable road in Bhutan which takes around 3 hrs. Enjoy the breathtaking views of Mount Jhomolhari and Jichu Drakey on a clear day.
Take a short hike along the ridge of Chele La pass to see the stunning views of Himalayan peaks and views of Ha and Paro Valleys. Later in the afternoon, visit Paro Rimpong Dzong (heaps of jewels). Later proceed back to the hotel. Rest of the evening is free at leisure.
Late afternoon, attend the demonstration of archery, the national sports of Bhutan and darts, another sports wildly played in Bhutan.
Evening at leisure. Overnight in Paro.
Day 8: Departure
After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and proceed to Paro International Airport for your onward journey
