Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Gangtok

On arrival at Bagdogra Airport/New Jalpaiguri (NJP) Railway Station board your vehicle for a drive to Gangtok. Arrive  at Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim, located at an elevation of 5700 ft and check in to your hotel. You may like to visit M.G. Marg, the shopping & eatery hub of the town or just idle around the quaint and vibrant town. Overnight at Gangtok.

Day 2: Excursion to Tsongmo Lake & Baba Mandir

After an early breakfast, start on a full day sightseeing trip to Tsongmo Lake (approximately 40 kms ) which is on the road to the Indo-China border. This lake is pronounced by many as 'Chaangu Lake' and is fed by the melting snows of the adjoining mountains.     

Enjoy a Yak ride around the lake and then proceed to Baba Mandir which is a further 10 Km towards the border. Baba Mandir,  located at an elevation of 13100 ft is dedicated to Harbhajan Singh, a Major of the 23rd Punjab Regiment of Indian Army who died at the age of 26 during an encounter with the Chinese Red Army. Legend has it that he was drowned in a glacier while leading a column of mules to ferry supplies to a border outpost. The shrine was built in his honour and a common belief is that his spirit protects the Indian soldiers in this hostile terrain.

Return to Gangtok by evening.  Evening is free for leisure followed by overnight stay.

Day 3: Gangtok to Ravangla

After breakfast check out and proceed to visit Ranka Monastery, Do Drul Chorten & Rumtek Monastery. 

Later you will be transferred to Ravangla , a journey of 65 kms for 2 hrs. On arrival, check in at your hotel. Located at an altitude of 7000 ft on a ridge between Maenam and Tndong Hill, Ravangla offers fascinating views of the mountain ranges. The town is surrounded by the towering evergreen trees with a forested mountain backdrop.

Later in the day you can walk to the nearby villages and visit the Bonn & Ralong Monastery.

Overnight at your hotel.

Day 4: Ravangla to Pelling

After breakfast, check out and proceed on a 50 km drive to Pelling which will take approximately two hours.

On arrival, check in at your hotel and then proceed for local sightseeing covering Rimbi Waterfalls & Rock Garden, Kanchendzonga Waterfalls, Khecheoplari Lake. After this, visit the Rabdentse Ruins and Pemayangtse Monastery.

Return to your hotel for overnight stay.

Day 5: Pelling

The whole day is free to explore the town and surroundings at your leisure.

Day 6:  Pelling to Yuksom

After breakfast, check out and drive to Yuksom. On arriving, check in at your hotel.

Yuksom is a village located at an altitude of 5840 ft and is the starting point for some of the most renowned treks like Goechla Trek, Dzongri Trek. It also serves as the base camp of Himalayan Mountaineering Institute for treks to Mt. Kanchenjunga.

The ideal place to just relax, Yuksom is best explored on foot. Overnight at Yuksom.

Day 7 : Yuksom to Bagdogra / NJP .

After an early breakfast, check out and start on your journey to NJP Railway Station/Bagdogra Airport for your onward journey.
