Darjeeling:

Darjeeling is nestled in the Himalayan range in Northern Bengal. Also popularly known as the “Queen of Hills” is esteemed for its scenic beauty, snow peaks, vibrant green hills, views of green tea bushes and quaint township.  For the nature’s lover, there are beautiful trekking routes and campsites from Darjeeling, which gives the opportunity to get close to nature; for the photographers- there are picturesque shots of the Himalayas available from every corner; for the food lover – the varied range of restaurants to street-side vendors will cater to all your food pangs; for the shopaholic – the local markets will surprise you with their diverse collection.

Kurseong:

Kurseong is a small hill town which is spread across multiple hills and is known for its horticulture. For the adventure seeker who also loves being amidst nature, this is the perfect place for a getaway. This quaint town houses beautiful tea gardens, multiple religious destinations, various viewpoints. The town is also known for the schools built during British era.

Kalimpong:

Kalimpong is a hilltop town located at the east of river Teesta. This sleepy little town is situated at an altitude of 3,938 ft. It offers a picturesque view of the Kanchenjunga and other Himalayan snow peaks. You can indulge yourself in white water rafting along the river Teesta, hiking, trekking, village walk etc. These experiences are enhanced by the magnificent view of the surrounding hills, and riverbanks.

Trip Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival at Bagdogra Airport and transfer to Darjeeling

Day 2: Darjeeling sightseeing covering – Tiger Hill, Darjeeling Toy Train Ghoom Monastery, Peace Pagoda, Batasia Loop, Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday).

Day 3: Darjeeling sightseeing covering –Ropeway, Tensing Gumpo Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self Help Center (Closed on Sunday), Tea Estate, Natural History Museum (Sunday Closed)

Day 4: Darjeeling to Kurseong

Day 5: Visit organic and biodynamic Ambootia Tea Factory.

Day 6: Kurseong to Kalimpong,

Day 7: Local sightseeing covering - Catholic Church, Zong Dhog Palri Fo Brang Monastery, Dr. Graham’s Home,

Day 8: Kalimpong to Bagdogra Airport Transfer.
