It is also famous for 200 species of birds that include cattle egret, pond heron, black ibis, common peafowl, crested serpent eagle, etc.
Pench:
This central region of India is blessed by nature and home to wild animals, delving into the history which is alive with flora and fauna. The escapade of the little boy Mowgli, the Bagheera, and the villain Sher Khan written by Rudyard Kipling was inspired by the beauty of Pench National Park. October to February can be considered the best time to visit Pench.
Pachmarhi:
Popularly known as the 'Satpura ki Rani' (Queen of Satpura). Pachmarhi is Madhya Pradesh's most verdant gem. A lovely hill girdled by the Satpura ranges, it offers absolute tranquillity.
