Paro - A picturesque valley nestled amidst fascinating mountains and peaks, dotted with remarkable traditional houses, and blanketed with pristine greenery. One of the iconic monasteries of Bhutan- The Tiger Nest or the Taktsang, is situated over a cliff in Paro.
Thimphu – The capital city of Bhutan, Thimphu offers a rich tapestry of experiences that span from spiritual sanctuaries to outdoor adventures and culinary delights. It’s a great place to see the imposing Dzongs (monasteries), the King’s Memorial Chorten, and the Buddhist painting school.
Punakha – A quint little town with much to offer. Located 3 hours away from Thimphu, Punakha Dzong is also known as the palace of great happiness. It is a truly authentic showcase of Bhutanese artistry, with a magnificent assembly hall filled with beautiful clay figures and detailed murals.
Trip Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at Paro and transfer to Thimphu,
Day 2: Thimphu full day city tour,
Day 3: Transfer to Punakha,
Day 4: Day trip to Phobjika valley,
Day 5: Transfer to Paro. Half day city tour of Paro,
Day 6: Excursion to Taktshang Monastery (Tiger Nest),
Day 7: Departure.
